Ending the event last sunday, what are the most interesting highlights from the event?

Wheee - first reply. One of my favourite moments was seeing the new Pairs team of Kristin Moore-Towers and Dylan Moscovitch. Such enthusiasm and how carefree - hope they can stay that way for a while and just enjoy themselves

I'm sorry, but the most memorable moment from Skate Canada has to be Tessa and Scott's freedance. They are just flawless. However, I do feel sorry for Patrick Chan who looked like he was still in pain from his injuries and Jeremy Ten. Jeremy's skates were very uncharacteristic for him and I felt really bad for him.

Hey guys I loved loved loved Tessa and Scott too, but the question was interesting highlights - with and "s". We don't have to declare a winner here - lets just share all the stuff we loved.

I'll agree with those already mentioned and add that seeing Kaitlyn & Andrew's Free Dance & them on the podium was awesome as well!

Personally, I had never really paid much attention to Jeremy Abbott before this event either... but greatly enjoyed his personality on the ice and of course his skating.

So as to not be repetitive, I'll get specific and say the final pose of Virtue and Moir's Free Dance! And Weaver and Poje really came into their own here-- we'll all be keeping our eyes on them now!

Hmmm... both highlights from the dance event... and I never considered myself a particularly dance-oriented fan...

I'll add that having Abbott put two solid skates together and seeing Daisuke looking closer to his former self also made things interesting for me. The more guys skating clean at the Olys, the happier I shall be!

My favorite moment from SC was being able to see the Grand Prix return of Anabelle Langlois and Cody Hay after such a long absence from competition. I am so excited that they were able to put together two good programs, despite getting hooked together in the short program. I am very much looking forward to seeing them continue to gain ground and confidence as the season progresses.

I also loved being able to see Kaitlyn and Andrew's free dance and being able to see them on the podium was fantastic!!! My friend and I were actually sitting in between their families during the medal ceremony and they were all so happy for them.....it made me a bit emotional as well

This definitely wasn't the best-skated competition of the season but nevertheless, WOW was it exciting. Virtue and Moir's free was the best performance I have ever seen live, and their no-hands lift was incredible. Dube and Davison gave me chills even in their practice run-through, without most of their elements. The emotional potential of this program amazes me. Althought I wasn't too impressed overall by the men's competition, Denis Ten's short left me speechless and incredibly excited to see what this skater will show us in the future. All in all, quite an impressive weekend!
