Montreal, QC: Canadian Ice Dance Champions Marie-France Dubreuil and Patrice Lauzon proudly announced the birth of their daughter Billie-Rose Lauzon. Billie-Rose was born on Friday, December 24, 2010 at 11:48 p.m at Pierre-Le-Gardeur Hospital in Montreal. She weighed in at six pounds 12 ounces and measured in at 20 inches. "Marie-France, Patrice and Billie-Rose are all resting comfortably and are expected to return home on Monday, December 27," said their agent David Baden of IMG.

"Marie-France and I are so happy to have a beautiful and healthy little girl. We couldn't be prouder parents and look forward to celebrating Billie-Rose with our families during the Christmas holiday," said Patrice. "Our due date was December 25th so she arrived just 12 minutes early. Billie-Rose is the perfect gift!" said Marie-France.

Dubreuil and Lauzon won five Canadian ice dance championships and are two-time World silver medalists. They represented Canada in two winter Olympic Games. After retiring from competition, they were married in August 2008 and toured with Stars on Ice for four years. They provided commentary for RDS during the Vancouver winter Olympic Games. Although no date has been announced, Dubreuil and Lauzon do plan on retuning to the ice and performing for their fans.
